INGREDIENTS


MAIN INGREDIENTS:

500g lean beef mince
2-3 Tblsp fresh basil chopped
1 egg. large
1-1 cups cous cous
3 cloves fresh garlic finely chopped
4 Shallots Finely Chopped
1-2 Teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

THE SAUCE:

CurryMaster's Thai Chili Sauce of course!
DIRECTION


1. In a large bowl mix well all the ingredients with your hands.

2. Remove from bowl as you make small to medium sized balls (you decide how big but no more than 1 1/2" across) by rolling an amount in your palms in circular movements.

3. Tin foil a baking tray with a film of olive oil to stop balls sticking and

4. Place the meatballs separated from each other on the tray and bake in pre-heated oven on the middle shelf at 220 degrees for 20-30 mins.

5. Break open one of the balls to see if cooked through.

6. Transfer your balls to a casserole dish and generously pour over your Thai Sweet Chili sauce.

7. Place under a medium lit grill for 5-10 mins. or until you get a nice brown crispy like finish.

NOTE:

Use with my Thai Chili Sauce recipe.

Should be able to make about 12-18 meatballs with the above ingredients.

Serve with good quality Thai Noodles or the Perfect Jasmin Rice

WARNING - The sauce can become very hot after grilling because of the sugar content, so be careful before diving in.
